Will my flowers fade?
As flowers are an organic material, they will fade over time, but this will take many years if frame is kept in the right environment. Keep frame away from direct sunlight and away from anywhere where moisture or humidity may affect it, such as a bathroom.
Some flowers press better than others such as purple flowers tend to keep their colour well, but white flowers change to a yellowish colour. Even when flowers fade, they are still beautiful.
Will my entire bouquet be pressed?
We try to press as much of the bouquet as possible, however only the flowers in the best condition and best quality will be used. Flowers that are too dry or in poor condition will be discarded.
When do you need to receive my flowers?
To achieve the best results, we need to receive your flowers no later than 3 – 4 days after event. If flowers arrive later than 4 days and are in a condition that we deem unsatisfactory for pressing you will be notified, and photo sent to you and flowers will be discarded.
If shipping flowers, they will need to express posted on the morning of the first working day after your event.
Once your date is reserved and deposit received, you’ll receive a shipping guide with instructions to follow and best care instructions for your flowers.
Where are you located?
We are in Bittern, on the Mornington Peninsula.
How far in advance do I need to reserve my wedding date?
The sooner the better! We recommend reserving your date at least 6 months prior to your wedding. We can only take a limited number of bouquets at once.
How does payment work?
We require a deposit of $150 on confirmation of reserved date. Then final payment when frame choice is made.
How do I choose a design?
We will send a maximum of 2 design drafts through for you to choose one and approve. Once agreed upon, florals will be glued and at this point there will be no design changes.
How long does the process take?
Great care and time are taken to create and finish these exquisite pieces. The entire process from receiving your flowers to shipping back to you may take up to 3 to 4 months.
Will my framed flowers last forever?
Your pressed flowers will last for years and generations to come if displayed and cared for correctly. Fading will naturally occur overtime as flowers are an organic material. We recommend you display your frame away from direct sunlight, windows, air vents and not in an area with moisture or humidity.
Do you accept last minute bookings?
We don’t want anyone to miss out! However, it depends on press availability for that date. It is best to get in touch with us and we can go from there.
Are my flowers colour enhanced?
Although we think the change of colour in some petals is beautiful, we reserve the right to colour correct where necessary.
What is colour correcting?
Some petals (not all) can fade and dull in the press and we use specialised methods to brighten them.
Do you accept already dried flowers?
Unfortunately, we do not accept any flowers that have already been dried as they are too fragile for our pressing methods.
Do you have gift vouchers?
Yes, we do offer gift vouchers. Please get in touch with us via our contact details.
Gift vouchers start at $100. Group gifting a pressed bouquet frame is an excellent idea for a wedding present.
Do you accept bouquets internationally?
At this stage we only accept bouquets Victoria, Australia wide.
Why are pressed floral frames expensive?
Pressing flower frames is very time consuming, meticulous and a delicate process.
Firstly, rehydrating and checking through bouquets after they arrive. Then
deconstructing each flower and pressing bouquet’s petal by petal can take hours.
Checking and changing pressing layers regularly (daily in the first week).
Removing flowers from the press petal by petal as they are very fragile.
Arranging petals and reconstructing them.
Designing layout options, glueing, cleaning the frame and securing.
Cost of materials – we use custom frames made locally by our expert framer. We have choices of premium glass or uv art glass.
Administration
Hours and hours of time-consuming detailed and skilled work goes into each these pieces.
Do you press all white bouquets?
We will only accept all white bouquets if there is a mix of different types of white flowers and a good amount of greenery. It can be tricky to press all white bouquets as there is not enough variety.
What flowers press the best?
Thick and very dense flowers don’t press as well, such as succulents. You can contact for further information on this.
